Description and Is it Worth Visiting
Han Market (Cho Han or Han Market) is a traditional covered market by the Han River, an ideal place to feel the atmosphere of a real Asian bazaar. On two floors, brisk trade is conducted from fruits to clothes and souvenirs. On the first floor there is a small local food court where you can try classic Vietnamese dishes like pho, banh mi, rice with chicken for very cheap, and drink excellent Vietnamese coffee. Near the market there are several currency exchange points with the most favorable rates in the city.
If you decide to go "shopping" here, then as in any such market, you must bargain here, as the initial price for tourists is often inflated. In general, this is not a glamorous, but quite authentic and working place, which may seem chaotic and stuffy. But it is here that you can make profitable purchases, eat like locals and see the everyday life of Da Nang.
