Description and is it worth a visit

Prasat Muang Sing Historical Park

Prasat Muang Sing Historical Park is the ruins of two Khmer temples built in the 13th and 14th centuries. Its architecture resembles the famous Angkor Wat in Cambodia, especially Bayon Temple. This place will definitely appeal to lovers of history and all kinds of ruins.

The territory of the complex is quite large, occupies 102 hectares, and is limited by the remains of the wall. Inside there are ruins of temples, statues, Buddhist shrines, and a museum. You can visit the park without any problems on your own, you just need to get to it. But it is best to do this by rented transport or taxi, as there is no other way to get there. In addition, the territory is quite large, and it is quite far from the main entrance to the ruins, and under the scorching heat it will not be an easy walk. But on your own transport you can move freely around the territory, asphalt roads are laid everywhere.

As such, there are not very many ruins here. In fact, only two objects (Monument No. 1 and No. 2) located next to each other are more or less spectacular. You can also look into the reconstruction of the excavation site. The other few objects are not very interesting. There are signs located on the territory, and information signs with a description of the history and destination are located next to the objects.

It is quite easy to get into the complex for free by driving along a good asphalt-concrete road from the village on the north side. There are no tickets inside the ticket control, but in this case you will not be able to get into the museum building.
