Description and is it worth a visit
On the way to Erawan Waterfall there are many stone workshops along the 3199 road. These are not art workshops of stone carving, but manual production, where the production of stone furniture, household accessories, landscape design elements and statues for temples and shrines, so beloved by Thais, is put on stream. You can freely stop near any of these workshops and walk around the territory between finished products and blanks, watch the manufacturing process. Surprisingly, all products are made without the use of machine tools, but only with the help of manual grinders (grinders), manual polishing machines, hammer and chisel on stone. You can chat with the masters, they are always happy to chat and show their skills, although most of them do not understand a word in English, and you will have to communicate in sign language.
