Description and is it worth a visit
Wat Pa Lelai Temple (also called Wat Pha Ok) is an ancient temple and ruins of the period and architecture of Ayutthaya, remaining on the site of the ancient city that once existed here. The place among tourists is little known and not marked on maps and in free guidebooks, but in vain. It is definitely worth a visit, especially if you love all sorts of antiquities and ruins.
The most preserved temple Wat Pa Lelai Temple is clearly visible from the road (see photo), but if you walk or drive further inland, you can see several more ruins of ancient temples, pagodas and other structures, even further to the river there are the remains of a fort.
