Description and is it worth a visit

Vietnam History Museum

Museum of Vietnamese History along with War Crimes Museum and We recommend that you include The Palace of Reunification in your Ho Chi Minh City itinerary. It is one of the two major exhibition complexes of the National Historical Museum of Vietnam, the other branch is located in Hanoi. Sometimes it is confused with the city museum Museum of Ho Chi Minh City, however, if they overlap in some way in terms of exhibits, this historical museum still has more value and collection.

Its exposition presents a unique collection of objects belonging to different periods of history: from prehistoric times (up to 300 thousand years ago) to the formation of the Vietnamese Communist Party in 1930. Most of these are ancient works of art and their replicas created during the various Vietnamese dynasties in China and Cambodia, a collection of Tam sculpture.

Even the building of the Museum of Vietnamese History, built in 1929, looks very attractive and combines features of Asian and European architecture. Near it you can often meet artists who come here to the planer for sketches. Next to the museum is the Temple of King Hung (Temple of Hung King). There is nothing special about it, but you can enter it on the way.

In one of the buildings, performances of the traditional Vietnamese puppet theater on the water (Water Puppetry) are held twice a day, which are of constant interest among tourists. Perhaps if you have seen this show in a large puppet theater in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, you will be a little disappointed with the scale, but the cost of the show is low and is only 120,000 DONG.

Ничего особенного. Цены нормальные но ехать далековато от центра. Если время есть то можно зайти.

Класное место! Обязательно возьмите гида иначе многое не поймете. Мы брали аудиогид за доп плату но оно того стоило.
