Ho Chi Minh Museum (Ho Chi Minh Museum or Dragon Wharf - Ho Chi Minh Museum) is one of the many branches of museums about the great leader of Ho Chi Minh City, the likes of which are in almost every major city in Vietnam. The beautiful building, built by the French in 1863, features one of the richest collections of objects related to the life of the first president of Vietnam.
Unlike some other museums of Ho Chi Minh City in the country, which are organized in the houses or residences of the leader, he never lived or worked in this building. However, history still connects Ho Chi Minh City with this place by a thin thread. It was from here in 1911 (then this place was called Ham Rong or Dragon House Wharf) that the leader set off on his 30-year wanderings around the world, including to the Soviet Union.
The information in the museum is presented mainly in the form of photographs and documents, the signatures of the exhibits are duplicated in Vietnamese and English. We will definitely not advise you to go here, but if you have time or are interested in the activities of Ho Chi Minh City, you can visit it. Notable in the museum is not only its exhibition, but also the unique architecture of the building, resulting from a mixture of Vietnamese and French styles.

🚶 How to get there
The museum is located one and a half kilometers from the tourist area and Ben Tan market at 1 D Nguyen Tat Thanh, accessible on foot (museum on the map). From other parts of the city, you can get here by buses No. 20 and No. 75. If you don't understand local buses, you can use Google Maps to find the route number. A taxi ride around the city will cost from 30,000 VND (1.14 USD) when ordering via apps. The nearest metro station is next to Ben Tan Market.
