RussiaStrelnaya Mountain in the Samara region, it is rightfully considered one of the most interesting natural attractions of the Samara Luka and Zhiguli nature reserve in Samara region. It is the second highest mountain in Samara Luka National Park its height is 351 meters, while the highest point of the Zhiguli mountains, Mount Observer, has a height of 375 meters.
You can visit the mountain yourself in the form of a tourist route for a fee, but, unfortunately, it is available only by personal or excursion car transport, on foot and even by bicycle do not miss. After passing the checkpoint where payment is made, it is necessary to drive by car along the road to the parking lot, leave the transport there and continue the route on foot. The pedestrian road to the top is simple, takes 20 minutes. Along the way, you can get acquainted with the nature of the Reserve, and if you are lucky, you will see animals, but you should not count on much. At the very top, the trail turns into a pedestrian bridge connecting the observation decks, which offer wonderful views of the reserve, the Volga and part of Togliatti. Here is the Rocky "Devil's bridge". Along the route there are signs informing tourists about the sights, there is a toilet, everything is very comfortable and well equipped. This tourist route ends.
More important information! Stay on the route no more than 3.5 hours. Getting off the trail and off the road is prohibited. There are a lot of ticks in the forest of the reserve, so cover all open areas of the skin with clothes, and after visiting, be sure to check for ticks on the body.

💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: payment is made for the car, not for the number of people in the car, paid at the checkpoint at the entrance to the route. 🚶 How to get there: Mount Strelnaya is located on Zhiguli nature reserve in the Samara Luka National Park near the village of Zolnoye (Strelnaya mountain on the map. You can visit the route only by private or sightseeing car transport, access on foot or by bicycle is prohibited. The entrance checkpoint is located in the village of Zolnoye on Gudronaya Street (Strelnaya mountain checkpoint on the map), payment for entry is also made here. Then go along the route to the parking 20-30 minutes, and then walk up the mountain for about 20 minutes. There are signs everywhere along the route, so it's impossible to get lost.
