Kurumoch International Airport (Samara airport, IATA code – KUF) is located in the village of Bereza, 45 kilometers from the center of Samara, and 55 from Togliatti (Kurumoch airport on the map). Since 2019, the International Airport named after Sergei Korolev is officially called, but in all schedules and guidebooks it is still indicated as "Kurumoch".

It serves the cities of Samara, Togliatti, Syzran, Novokuznetsk and other cities in the Samara region, and it is the only passenger airport in the region. Official site - airport.samara.ru.

Samara airport is served by frequent domestic scheduled flights to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar, Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Ufa, Tyumen, as well as international flights to Antalya, Tashkent, Dubai, Dushanbe. Planning and arrangement of Kurumoch airport

The airport consists of one terminal that performs the function of departure and arrival. An additional second terminal is used only for VIP passengers of private jets and air taxis.

Entrance and exit from the terminal is carried out only on the ground floor. On the ground floor, immediately after the entrance, there are check-in counters for all destinations and airlines. To get to the departure area after check-in, you need to climb the stairs or escalator to the third floor.

The terminal is arranged very well and simply, and it is quite spacious, which is why the accumulation of passengers is very rare. The infrastructure here is minimal, but everything you need is available: cafes and restaurants, a waiting area, a business Hall, kiosks with souvenirs, press and flight goods, luggage storage, a bus station, luggage packaging, ATMs.

• Stand with turinformation

  There is a tourist information desk on the ground floor to the right of the terminal exit. There you can book a tour of the city of Samara or Togliatti (prices are reasonable), get a free consultation on attractions, take free booklets with maps of cities and attractions in the region.

• Currency exchange

  Unfortunately, there is no currency exchange office as of 2021 (previously it was on the 1st floor). You can withdraw money from one of several ATMs of different banks.

• Internet

  There is steady free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal, no registration required.

• Duty-free shops

  There are in the international zone at departure and arrival.

• Parking

  Near the airport there is a spacious parking lot. 15 minutes on it can be found for free, and then there is a payment of 500 rubles/hour. Re-entry within an hour is paid-200 rubles, i.e. you will not be able to leave and call on it for free every 15 minutes of free time.

  To use the parking, you need to get a card at the entrance to the terminal at the barrier, which must then be returned to the terminal of the barrier at the exit. If you were in the parking lot for less than 15 minutes, then the barrier immediately opens for departure for free, otherwise you will have to make a payment (at least 500 rubles, even if you were there for 16 minutes).

  Also nearby there are two long-term airport parking: from 400 rubles per day, and multi-level parking for 250 rubles per day. Cheaper you can put the car in the parking lot "Garant" on the territory of the hotel "AVIAHOTEL" for 200 rubles per day, or on the outskirts of the village of Birch from 100 rubles per day.

Hotels near Samara Kurumoch airport

Near the airport there are several accommodation options, but, unfortunately, there are no budget ones. Prices start from 3000 rubles / day. It is much cheaper to stay in Samara or Togliatti, or in motel Kurumoch on the M5 highway 14 kilometers from the airport. Prices in the latter start from 750 rubles per person in a hostel-type dormitory room.

How to get from Kurumoch airport to Samara, Togliatti, and other cities

From the airport you can get cheap to Samara and Togliatti by bus, taxi, or poezede-aroexpress. The former commuter and international bus station is no longer in operation (as of 2021). Therefore, the best way to get to other cities of the region and also to the nearest cities of the Orenburg region is to get to the bus station of Samara or Togliatti, and make a transfer there.

The airport is connected to Samara by railway Aeroexpress and regular buses, while Togliatti can only be reached by bus.

  Taxi at the airport can be ordered at the counter, via the Internet, or catch at the exit from the terminal. The cost of a trip to Samara or Togliatti will be about 1400 rubles. You can save money if you order a taxi in one of the local city taxi parks, searching in advance for carriers on the Internet, and making an order by phone or through the website. For example, one Togliatti taxi company offers trips from 700 rubles to Togliatti, and 1200 rubles to Samara, if you order a car in advance to a certain time. Also, when leaving the arrival hall on the first floor, private taxi drivers are on duty who offer a trip to Togliatti and Samara and can gather a group of different passengers to save the trip. For example, you can get to a specific address in Togliatti for 500 rubles, to Samara for 400 rubles, but you need to negotiate and bargain.

  By Aeroexpress to the center of Samara can be reached in 1 hour 20 minutes. Travel costs 150 rubles for adults, 75 rubles for children. Tickets are sold only in air trains,and only for cash.

  The station from which trains depart and arrive is away from the airport (Aeroexpress station on the map), and you must first take the free shuttle bus to reach it. The bus departs from the terminal 30 minutes before the departure of the train, i.e. The entire journey will take almost two hours. Along the way, six stops are made at the stations Starosemeikino, Vodinskaya, Yagodnaya, Srednevolzhskaya, Pyatiletka, Stakhanovskaya. The route ends at the railway station of Samara, which is located almost in the historical center of the city.

  From Kurumoch airport on buses departing directly from the terminal, you can get to the cities of Samara and Togliatti. This is the most inexpensive way to leave the airport. Tickets are sold at the counter in the arrival terminal (on the ground floor), and it is better to buy them as soon as possible after landing, because sometimes they sell out completely for the next flight, and you have to wait for the next bus. Also sometimes there are situations when the bus passes through the airport (from Samara or Togliatti) already full.   • Samara

    City bus number 78. The fare is 25 rubles. They run from 07:00 to 22:00 approximately every 60 Minutes. The bus goes to the stop Kirov Avenue (Barboshina Polyana), from where to the historical center of the city will have to change to another transport.

    Minibus number 392. The fare is 40 rubles. They run from 06:15 to 21:00 approximately every 20 minutes. On this bus it is best to get to the Central Bus Station, and then transfer to another city transport to the historical center.

    Commuter bus number 652. The fare is 170 rubles. They run from 06:50 to 21:45 on a schedule with an interval of 15-45 minutes. On this bus you can get to the railway station of Samara almost to the very center of the historical district.

  • In Togliatti

    Commuter bus number 652. This is the same bus that goes to Samara (see above). It connects the Railway Station of Samara and the bus station of the Avtozavodsky district in Togliatti, on the way calling at Kurumoch airport, and in Togliatti also at the bus station of the Central District and the Aurora Bus Station. The cost is 170 rubles. From the airport to Togliatti depart from 07:10 to 21:40 on schedule with an interval of 15-45 minutes. On this bus you can get to the railway station of Samara almost to the very center of the historical district. Tickets are sold at the counter on the ground floor of the terminal.
