Lenin embankment, or simply Yalta embankment is the main place for walking around the city. It is here that all the tourist fun takes place, and it is here that the spirit of the resort capital of the Crimea is felt like nowhere else. Both in the afternoon and in the evening something happens here, but especially a lot of things in the evening: attractions work; rental of children's bicycle and electric cars, bicycles, roller skates and gyroscuters; offer to take pictures in an embrace of full-length dolls; local artists exhibit their works and street artists give performances. 🚶 How to get there: the embankment is located in the center of Yalta and stretches from the pier and Lenin Square to the beginning of the city beach for almost a kilometer (embankment on the map. You can get here from other areas by any city bus. If you come to Yalta from the suburbs to the bus station, then you can also get from there by any city bus or trolleybus.
Yalta Zoo "fairy tale"
Yalta Zoo "Fairy Tale" – the largest and most popular zoo in Crimea. If you come to rest in Yalta or to the resorts of Greater Yalta with children, then you must go here. In the zoo you can see the Amur tiger, white lions, leopards, giraffe, kangaroo, camels, many species of monkeys, bears, zebras, birds and many more exotic inhabitants.
Compared with the capital's zoos, it does not seem very large, but very well-groomed and cozy. On the territory there are cafes, toilets, smoking areas, even simple children's attractions. 💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: adults-500 rubles; children 3-10 years-250 rubles; up to 3 years-free of charge. The entrance to the exotarium is paid additionally for adults 100 rubles, children under 10 years-50 rubles.
🚶 How to get there: the zoo is located far from the center at 156 Kirova Street (Zoo on the map. You can get here by minibus number 24 (from "Spartak Cinema")."), 26, 27, 115, 102 ( from the bus station). On your own transport access to the zoo on Kirov Street, in front of the entrance there is a spacious free parking.
Aquarium "Underwater grotto"
This is a regular (not tunnel) aquarium with exotic fish and amphibians. Small individual aquariums are built into the wall in the form of a cave and beautifully decorated inside, and the entrance itself is made in the form of a shark's mouth. But do not expect too much and go here on purpose, it is too far from the center. But if you come to the Yalta zoo, you can look here, especially since upon presentation of a ticket to the zoo you can get a discount on admission.

🚶 How to get there: the aquarium is located next to the Yalta zoo (Aquarium on the map), a separate entrance next to the entrance to the zoo.
Yalta-Intourist Aquarium
A small aquarium works in the Yalta-Intourist hotel. Here, in ordinary aquariums in four halls, you can see exotic inhabitants of warm seas, more than 200 species in total. There are two crocodiles, stingrays, land and sea turtles, a small reef shark, a moray eel, and a variety of beautiful colored fish. Excursions are not held, you just inspect the inhabitants yourself. If for some reason you can not get to other oceanariums of the Crimea, then you can visit here, but do not expect too much, it will be interesting only for children. 🚶 How to get there: the aquarium is located on the beach of the Yalta-Intourist hotel, Drazhinsky STR. 50 (Gozlev gate on the map. You can get from the center by bus number 29A to the stop "Intourist" for 25 rubles, then go down to the beach. Intourist Beach is a concrete multi-level structure with cafes, shops and recreation areas, the aquarium is among them. Another option is to take a pleasure boat to the beach at Pier No. 8, the cost is 100 rubles.
