A comfortable hotel room costs from 2000 rubles, and you can settle in four stars from 3000 rubles, and this is one of the lowest prices in the Crimea. There are options for those who prefer complete comfort-five-star hotels from 8000 rubles. In the peak season (July and August), prices may rise slightly, but this does not always happen, it all depends on the flow of tourists.

Another accommodation option is rental housing. There is also a very wide selection, and pleasant prices. A room can be rented from 600 rubles, a one-room apartment from 1000, a two-room apartment from 1200 rubles (prices in the 2017 season). Most of the rented housing has TV, kitchen, Internet, hot water. In the peak season (July and August), prices can also rise, but it all depends on the influx of tourists.

How to find a hotel or accommodation in Yalta

As for hotels or hostels, it is definitely better to book them in advance. It is not necessary to do this much in advance, you can a few days before the trip. But if you need accommodation in a comfortable hotel with special requirements, for example, swimming pool, parking, breakfast, etc., it is better to take care of booking in advance. It is also better to book four and five star hotels in advance.

As for housing, it is possible to find it in advance and arrange by phone through local rental sites or bulletin boards, but it is not necessary to do so. Upon arrival in the city, go straight to the Yalta bus station. Intermediaries and landlords, mostly elderly women, are constantly on duty there. It is only necessary to show interest in renting an apartment, as you will be bombarded with offers. Do not be afraid to gather a crowd of intermediaries around you, because the more of them, the faster the price decreases. Immediately ask the intermediaries the conditions, as in the search engine (how many people, how long, whether you need a kitchen, Internet, parking, location), and you will be offered everything you need, there is no deception.

Where to settle

The closer to the sea the location of the hotel / accommodation, the more expensive. But do not be afraid to choose options away from the beaches, if you really need to save money. Prices with distance from the coast fall rapidly, and you can get to the beaches by Transport (goes often, is inexpensive, see transport in Yalta). And in the evening you can walk to the hotel/accommodation and on foot, the city is not so big.

As for the choice of areas, if you come to Yalta to have fun and "hang out", try to settle as close as possible to the center and the pier, because it is from here that the embankment originates, where all the tourist fun takes place (See center of Yalta on the map). An excellent option would be accommodation, albeit further from the beach, but near Kievskaya/Moskovskaya Street. There is a lot of transport along this street, you can reach the embankment in 5 minutes. But remember that located in the area of the center, more or less normal beaches will have to get to the outskirts of Yalta, which, however, can be done on foot.
