RussiaYalta Zoo "Fairy Tale" is the largest and most popular zoo in Crimea. If you come on vacation to Yalta or to the resorts of big Yalta with children, then it is necessary to go here. In the zoo you can see the Amur tiger, white lions, leopards, giraffe, kangaroo, camels, many species of monkeys, bear, zebras, birds and many more exotic inhabitants.
Compared with the capital's zoos, it does not seem very big, but it is very well-groomed and cozy. On the territory there are cafes, toilets, smoking areas for adults and even simple children's attractions. The petting zoo is especially popular with children on the territory where they can cuddle and feed piglets, goats, sheep and other pets. Some animals in cages can also be fed, but only special food that is sold at the entrance can be used for this. There is also an exotarium on the territory (entrance is paid additionally), and next to it there is a separate entrance to the aquarium (also paid separately). You need to come here with the kids for at least a few hours, and preferably for half a day.

💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: adults – 800 rubles; children 3-10 years – 400 rubles; up to 3 years – free. Entrance to the exotarium is paid additionally for adults 200 rubles, children under 10 years - 100 rubles. From April 2023, there will be an entrance for adults – 1000 rubles; children 3-10 years old – 500 rubles.
🚶 How to get there: the zoo is located far from the center at 156 Kirova Street (zoo on the map). You can get here by minibus and buses, but you will have to make transfers. Minibus No. 24 goes directly to the zoo, but not from the center, but from the stop "Spartak Cinema" (see route #24 on the map). Another option is to take any city bus to the city bus station, and from there by suburban buses No. 26, 27, 102, 107 or 115. On these buses you need to get to the stop "Glade of fairy tales", and then 20 minutes on foot up Kirova Street. Also, the listed suburban buses to the zoo can be reached from other settlements of the Big Yalta. On your own transport, access to the zoo along Kirov Street, there is a spacious free Parking in front of the entrance.
