Administratively belongs to Greater Feodosia. The village received its name in honor of Sergo Ordzhonikidze, a famous Soviet political figure. The village, which covers an area of about 605 hectares, is home to approximately 2.8 thousand local people. Until 1990, the village was closed because of the military factories located there, and only after the collapse of the USSR and the closure of the factories began to develop as a resort. Holidays in Ordzhonikidze
The main advantage that attracts a separate category of vacationers in Ordzhonikidze is the lack of transit transport in the village, since it is located in a dead end of the highway. There are no ports or large industrial facilities near it (however, there is talk of reviving production at the closed military Torpedo Factory). The village is quiet and calm, with clean air. Locals say that here is the cleanest sea water on the Crimean coast. This is a great place for a relaxing holiday with your family, but for young active tourists it will be clearly boring because of the small amount of entertainment and still poorly developed tourist infrastructure. Nevertheless, fans of beach holidays and extreme entertainment, lovers of spearfishing and sea fishing, and, of course, lovers of natural recreation in nature - nudists who like to relax in secluded bays in the vicinity of the village, come to Ordzhonikidze with pleasure. Another advantage of recreation in the village is lower prices than in the much more popular neighboring Feodosia and Koktebel.
A network of hiking trails and paths covers the picturesque hills surrounding the village. These are recognized places for hiking and cycling by tourists and locals. On the paths through the hills you can even get to quiet bay beach in Koktebel, and Koktebel itself.
Ordzhonikidze Beaches

This is very convenient, because even when the sea is Stormy on one side, you can go to the other side, where the waters are calm. Here you can visit Rocky, Pebble, Sandy, wild and nudist beaches. Entrance to all beaches is free.
In Koktebel Bay there is an Agate Beach covered with pebbles, according to the stories of local old-timers, real agates were once found here. Koktebel Bay has a wonderful sandy central beach. The uniqueness of the village is that you can walk to the sea in 5-10 minutes from anywhere in Ordzhonikidze. And during windy weather, you can choose a beach protected from sea waves.
