Simferopol railway station and Kurortnaya bus station

Simferopol railway station and Kurortnaya bus station are the most important transport hub of the city and the peninsula Crimea in general. From here, a huge amount of transport goes to all corners of the Crimea, and if you need to get somewhere in the Crimea, then you can do it most easily from this station or with a transfer on it.

The station and station are very conveniently located near the city center and on the way from Simferopol airport (on the map) next to each other within walking distance. Almost all city public transport from the airport necessarily passes through them, so upon arrival you can safely take a bus or trolleybus, get to the station and make a transfer there to the desired resort of Crimea. A trip from the airport to the bus station costs 20 rubles by bus, 27 rubles by trolleybus (2017). Routes from Simferopol airport to Kurortnaya bus station:

Railway station

Today, the railway station is not very relevant for tourists, since there is practically no railway connection between it and other cities outside the Crimea. At the time of writing, there was only one train – Simferopol – Rostov-On-Don with a ferry crossing (no longer relevant). Trailer cars to Moscow are attached to this train. However, commuter trains that connect Simferopol with Sevastopol, Evpatoria and Dzhankoy remain relevant. You can find out train schedules using the Yandex. timetables service.

Kurortnaya Bus Station

As for buses, you can leave the bus station "Kurortnaya" on them within the peninsula from here anywhere. Buses to popular destinations depart at intervals of almost every 5 minutes, although sometimes empty, while potential passengers stand idle in line. The device "Resort" is very simple. This is a large parking lot with buses, in the southern part of which there are several ticket offices. There is no station building as such. The station schedule can be found again on Yandex.schedules, although, in our experience, it does not always have time to change after the real one, and not all existing directions are reflected there.
