How to get to Simferopol

Simferopol is the main air gateway to the peninsula. Here is the only airport in Crimea that has international status. In fact, so far it accepts flights only from the cities of the Russian Federation, but perhaps in the future international flights will open.

It is also possible to get to Simferopol by train. All previously existing flights through the territory of Ukraine due to the difficult political situation have been suspended, but after the completion of the construction of the railway part of the bridge, flights will resume.

With other cities of Russia Simferopol is connected by a dense bus, and with the cities of Crimea also by trolleybus and rail, and you can get from here and here from almost any city of the peninsula.

By plane

Flights to Simferopol airport are operated from many cities of the country. If there is no direct flight from your region, it is possible to get there inexpensively with a transfer through Moscow. How to get from Simferopol airport to the city

The airport is 17 kilometers from the city (Airport on the map). Transportation is very developed here, and getting to the city center and other resorts of Crimea is not difficult both by taxi and by public transport.

• Taxi

  

  You can use an official taxi or the services of private carriers. An official taxi can be found at the airport counters and we recommend using this method or booking a transfer in advance. The cost of the trip will cost about 300 rubles, depending on the place in the city. For private traders on the street, the cost may initially be higher at times, and you need to bargain with them. Another trick of taxi drivers-when bidding "impose" the price is not for the whole car, but for one person.

• By bus or trolleybus

  

  This is the cheapest way to get from the airport to the city, as, indeed, to the resorts of the Crimea. The fare is very low, transport goes often, even at night. The only drawback is the slow speed. The bus and trolleybus stop is located directly from the airport exit, 50 metres away.

  • City bus No. 49 goes from the airport to the Central Bus Station. The fare is 10 rubles. The journey takes up to 40 minutes. They run approximately every 10 minutes from 06:00 to 23:30.
  • City bus No. 49A (night) goes from the airport through the railway station and Bus Station "resort" to the city center. The fare is 10 rubles. The journey takes up to 40 minutes. They run approximately every 30 minutes from 19:00 to 09:00 (break from 02:00 to 05:00).
  • City bus No. 98 goes from the airport through the Railway Station, Bus Station "Resort", the city center to the bus station "west". The fare is 10 rubles, every 15 minutes from 06:00 to 21:00.
  • City bus number 100 goes from the airport to the bus station "Vostochnaya". The fare is 10 rubles, every 15 minutes from 06:00 to 21:00.

By public transport from the cities of Crimea

Transport in the region is well developed, and you can get from the cities of Crimea to Simferopol or from Simferopol to the resorts by buses, suburban trolleybuses and trains. Prices for travel on the peninsula are still very low compared to all-Russian.
