New promenade around Lake Nizhny Kaban appeared relatively recently, but has already become a favorite place for locals and tourists. It is modern and comfortable, suitable for people with disabilities. The total length of The Walking area paths is approximately 6 km. Around the lake you can slowly walk along convenient bridges and passages, sit down to relax on the benches.
A walk along the lake can be a pleasant addition to the guests of the city to explore the sights of Kazan. So, the pedestrian path passes near such interesting and noteworthy places as:

Sometimes various city events are held here, and in the evening part of the embankment in the area of the academic theater is effectively illuminated with colorful lights.
A walk along Lake Kaban will be pleasant not only for adults, but also for children at any time thanks to pigeons and city mallard ducks living near the lake. They are so used to being constantly fed here that they even take food from their hands.

the lake embankment stretches along the entire perimeter of Lake Nizhny Kaban, but the most equipped and modern part with bridges and railings is located on the eastern shore along Marcel Salimzhanov Street and Hadi Taktash Street (Kabana embankment on the map). The places of the greatest concentration of ducks and pigeons are located opposite the Galiaskar Kamal theater, near the boat and catamaran rental station on the side of Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda, as well as in the farthest corner of the lake on the pedestrian bridge along Nursultan Nazarbayev Street.
In turn, the lake, although located a little away from the center, is still a tourist part of Kazan. From the end of Bauman Street and the shopping center "ring "you can get here on foot in 10 minutes, the nearest metro station" Ploshchad Tukaya" is located there.
