Pitsunda Water Park is the second largest and most popular in Abkhazia after water park in Gagra. It opened in 2019, and now it is a favorite holiday destination for children and adults, one of the most popular family activities in Pitsunda and nearby resorts. People are happy to come here to relax during the New Athos, Gudauta and even from Gagra. The water park is located in the open air on the seashore.
Extreme slides should not be expected here, as well as their wide variety. There are 6 slides in total, there are open and closed, straight and spiral. There are 3 swimming pools, 2 for adults, 1 for small ones. There is a children's playground.
For a pleasant stay, the playground is equipped with sun loungers, awnings, umbrellas, showers, toilet. It is forbidden to bring food with you to the territory, but you can have an inexpensive snack in a cafe at the water park.
From the reviews of visitors to the water park in 2023, there were no storage rooms, so we had to independently monitor their safety.
🕐 Working hours
It is open only in summer from June 1 to September from 10:00 to 18:00.
💵 Entrance fee / ticket price
Tickets are purchased for the whole day, there is no hourly payment. Price in 2023: adults – 1500 rubles, children from 5 to 12 years – 1000 rubles, up to 5 years free. The ticket is a one-time ticket, it is impossible to go out and return using it, but according to the reviews of tourists, by agreement, it was allowed to leave the territory for no more than 15 minutes.
🚶 How to get there
The water park is located in Pitsunda on the shore near Cape Pitsunda (water park on the map). From the center of the resort, you can only walk along one of the routes: the first is through a free passage to the beach along Cypress Alley, and then to the outskirts of the cape along the shore to the left; the second is through a paid passage to the main beach (entrance 50 USD) to walk to the embankment, and then along the embankment to the right.
