Ba Sung Chin Pagoda in Vung Tau (Vung Tau Hakka Thien Hau Temple, Chua Ba Sung Chinh) is one of the famous urban pagodas, the religious center of the Chinese community. It is especially popular among Chinese tourists, but the rest here may be interesting. The temple stands out for its brightness and colorfulness from the entrance gate to the stairs. There are a lot of lanterns and colorful decorative elements in the design, which creates a typical atmosphere of a Chinese temple. Of course, there is also a Chinese scope – there is even an elevator here. It is also interesting because it is located on a hillside at an altitude of 50 meters above sea level, and from the top floor there is a good view of Vung Tau, especially wonderful in good weather. And on the reverse side, a little higher up the hill, you can clearly see the large statue of the seated Buddha of the Chon Khong Zen temple, be sure to take a walk to it, too.
The Ba Sung Chin Pagoda was built by the Chinese community of Vung Tau in 1969. Today it is a large complex consisting of several buildings. The main building has three floors and is even equipped with an elevator for disabled visitors. In the central altar there is a statue of the goddess Thien Hau, symbolizing the salvation of mankind. In addition to the gods worshipped in the main hall, statues of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, the Four-Faced Buddha and other deities can also be seen on the temple grounds.

🚶 How to get there
The pagoda is located at 38 Vi Ba St, it is about 4 kilometers from the center on the slope of Mount Tyong Ki (temple on the map). It's a long way on foot, so it's better to take a taxi or rented transport. Nearby in 2 minutes walk unusual kaodai Temple of the Mother Buddha.
