Description and is it worth a visit
Local market Cho Mui Ne in Mui Ne Village – this is not so much an attraction or entertainment, but definitely a worthwhile and useful place to definitely go during your vacation in Mui Ne.
If you suddenly do not know or have forgotten, then we remind you that the resort area of Mui Ne stretches along the coast, and the fishing village of Mui Ne itself is a slightly different place. The village is more natural and non-tourist, and this market here is also not tourist and very colorful. It is worth going here to buy inexpensive fruits (their prices may be twice as low as those that you will be offered on the main street of the resort), just take a walk around this noisy, dirty and colorful place, plunge into the local way of life.
But there is another useful reason to come here. There are a couple of jewelry stores in and near the market with traditionally very high currency exchange rates. Dollars are bought here at a rate higher than the official exchange rate, and it is very difficult to find such an exchange rate in exchangers and travel agencies on the main street in the resort area. At least, we couldn't find a higher exchange rate than here in Mui Ne, and that's why we always change money here.
And finally, in the evenings, a street food court for local residents starts working across the street from the market. The prices there are not to say that they are very low, and there will be difficulties with ordering dishes, because if there is a menu, it is only in Vietnamese. But, nevertheless, it is possible to plunge headlong into the life of ordinary Vietnamese and eat the same food as them, once.
🕐 Working hours
The market is open from early morning until the arrival of darkness (this is about 18 hours), and the evening food court, on the contrary, starts working with the arrival of darkness until about 22:00 hours.
