Ke Ga Lighthouse is considered one of the most beautiful in Southeast Asia. The design of the lighthouse is made using granite brought from France, and thanks to this it looks like a real architectural miracle. The height of the lighthouse, together with the stone cliff on which it is located, is 64 meters above sea level, and this is the highest lighthouse in Vietnam.
The lighthouse is located quite far from Mui ne (30 kilometers to the south), and therefore it is usually not visited on its own, but combined with a visit to Mount Taku.
The lighthouse is located on a small rocky island a few hundred meters from the shore. You can just look and take a picture of the lighthouse from the shore. But if you wish, you can swim to the island and explore the lighthouse in more detail, and even climb up. To do this, you can use a fishing boat from the shore (of course for a fee), or purchase an excursion. A conditional travel agency that organizes tours from the shore to the lighthouse is located on the main road opposite the lighthouse. It will not be possible to drive past and not notice it, since there are always barkers on duty there, who, at the sight of each tourist, jump out onto the road and offer their services.

Boat round trip - 200 000 - 300 000 dongov, can I bargain (7.6 USD, see the currency of Vietnam and its exchange rate). The entrance to the territory of the lighthouse is 10,000 VND (0.38 USD). For climbing to the lighthouse, they ask for another 200,000(7.6 USD).
🚶 How to get there
The lighthouse is located 30 kilometers southwest of Phan Thiet on a small island (Ke Ha on the map). It is not enough to get to the lighthouse by land, you will have to swim 300 meters to the island by boat. You can find a boat on the shore and negotiate a price (be sure to bargain to a reasonable price, usually no more than 200,000 VND for the whole boat), or buy an excursion at a travel agency located on the main road opposite the lighthouse. In turn, to get here from Mui Ne or Phan Thiet, it is best to use a rented transport and an excursion.
But there is also a budget option to get here – city bus No. 6. The fare on it costs only 25,000 VND. These buses depart from the center of Phan Thiet from Lotte Mart shopping Center and pass by Coop Mart, run every 30-40 minutes from 6:00 to 18:00.
