Description and is it worth a visit
Towers of Chams Tap Poshanu (Thap Poshanu Towers or Tahap Po Sah Inu, also towers of Chams) are perhaps the most interesting, and, in general, the only historical landmark in the resort area of Mui Ne. It cannot be said that this place will amaze you with its history and architecture, but it is impossible to miss it during your vacation in Mui Ne.
These towers were built in the eighth century, as part of a large temple complex by the Cham kingdom in honor of the worship of the god Shiva. But more than 300 years ago, the temple was very badly destroyed, and only three towers survived, which can be viewed today. In 1990-2000, the towers were seriously restored and began to look much better.
Inside the main tower there is an altar with two lingas (Liga-yoni) – symbols of Shiva – for worship. You can see bats on the ceiling.
Fishermen living in the area come here to ask the gods for safe fishing and a rich catch. There is also a small cultural center organized here, which is supposedly designed to acquaint tourists with the culture and history of the Cham kingdom, but, in fact, is more like a big souvenir shop. There is also a monument to Vietnamese soldiers.

🚶 How to get there
The towers between Phan Thiet and Mui Ne are almost at the beginning of the resort area from Phan Thiet (position of towers on the map). You can even get here from the western part of the resort area of Mui Ne on foot, although you will have to walk a lot. The turn to the towers from the highway is marked by a beautiful stone sign with the inscription "Nhomdenthap Cham".
A taxi from the center of the resort will cost from 100 000 to 200 000 VND in one direction (depending on the place of departure), or a motorcycle taxi from 30 000 to 80 0000. It is better to order through the Grab or Maxim applications, or order through the hotel reception or negotiate with taxi drivers on the street.
If you go here by rented transport, then at the entrance, when buying tickets, you still need to pay for parking: 5000 for a motorcycle, 3000 for a bicycle, 10,000 for a car. If you do not want to pay for parking, then you can leave the transport at the ticket office or on the side of the road at the turn, and then walk 200 or 500 meters, respectively.
There is also a very economical way to get here from anywhere in the resort area of Mui Ne or from the center of Phan Thiet – city bus No. 1. It runs along the main road through the whole of Mui Ne, walks every 20-30 minutes. You can stop the bus anywhere by hand. He goes to the turn to the towers, from where he will have to walk 500 meters to the complex. Ask the driver, he will drop you off where you need. The fare is 8 000 – 20 000 depending on the distance, but get ready to pay the maximum of 20,000 at once (0.76 USD), because you are tourists.
