Description and is it worth visiting
An Hoi Island in Hoi An is not a separate attraction in the literal sense of the word, but it is a very beautiful area, and after visiting it, you will most likely return here every evening. A colorful night market with street food and thousands of souvenirs operates here, and those famous Hoi An lanterns are sold exactly here. There is also an embankment with sculptures by Vietnamese artists, and from this embankment across the river you get the most beautiful photos of Hoi An's center that you can see in advertising brochures and on postcards of the resort.
Along the river embankment on An Hoi, there is a chain of very cozy cafes and restaurants, where dining allows you to enjoy the view of the river and evening Hoi An. It is believed that prices in restaurants are affordable and lower than in the center, but this is not entirely true. Perhaps it was once so, but now it has become rather the opposite: the popularity of this walking area has grown, and consequently, prices have also risen.
Also located on the island is the cultural center Hội An Lune Center for the Performing Arts, which shows a traditional paid show daily except Monday, which we included in one of the mandatory activities for tourists in Hoi An.
And finally, it is here that the most youthful and partying zone with bars has now formed, which is much more fun and noisy compared to the main embankment in the center on the other side, where a calmer, more respectable atmosphere still prevails, conducive to leisurely family and romantic walks. All the "fun" establishments here are again located on the embankment along Nguyen Phuc Chu Street, there are themed venues and international bars and pubs, for example The LyLy Irish Pub & Sports Bar Hoi An, Bob Marley, Mr Bean, The Fox & Hounds Sports Bar, and many others. Of course, don't expect debauchery and fun here like in Pattaya or on Beer Street in Hanoi, but if you want to drink, meet and chat with other young tourists, then this is definitely the place for you, and it won't be boring here.
The easiest way to get to the peninsula is via the beautiful pedestrian bridge (An Hoi Bridge), which is located next to the Covered Japanese Bridge. Next to the bridge, large figures (called Swan Boats) - fish, tigers, and dragons - float in the middle of the river and are beautifully lit up in the evenings. A bit further, there are two more car bridges leading to An Hoi.

🚶 How to Get There
An Hoi Island is located in the center of Hoi An, connected to it by the pedestrian bridge An Hoi Bridge or Hoi An Lantern Bridge, as well as two car bridges (An Hoi on the map). Given the evening nature of visiting the island, it is best to come here on foot, combining the visit with a walk around the center and embankment.
