Description and is it worth a visit
Colombo Street Art Gallery is an open street art space where local artists exhibit their works for sale. One could even say that this is a kind of local "Arbat", but the scale here is far from such, and this place is not very well located: there are no cafes and places to relax nearby. Although the location of the art gallery was not chosen by chance, it is located on the street between Viharamadevi Park and The National Museum, and nearby is the National Art Gallery.
As for the content of the street gallery itself, here on the sidewalk along the road for several tens of meters, artists simply put up their paintings for sale, and nothing more. You can stop by here if you want to buy something, or just when you visit a museum or a park.
By the way, don't worry about the fact that if you buy a painting here, it won't fit in your luggage and hand luggage. I'll take the canvas off the stretcher without any problems and roll it up into a tube, so you can get it through without any problems.
