What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
Uchan-Su is the highest waterfall on the peninsula, its height is 98 meters, and this, I would like to note, is almost 35 floors. It is located on the Waterfall River, the waters of which are falling down with great force, as a result of which a deep pool has formed at its foot, in which you can swim, unless, of course, you venture to plunge into very cold water. In the parking lot at the entrance to the waterfall there is a cafe and a market with souvenirs and tourist goods, there is a toilet, but for a fee.
In general, the waterfall is very picturesque, but, unfortunately, the view is spoiled by construction and household garbage, as well as a water pipe running vertically along the water jets. And in the summer it turns into a thin trickle of water, and there's not much to see this season.

🕐 Working hours
Around the clock, but officially this tourist route is open from 08:00 to 18:00. Keep in mind that there is not much point in visiting Uchan-Su in the summer, because it dries up. The best time is spring or even winter.
💵 Entrance fee / ticket price
The waterfall is one of the tourist routes of the Yalta Nature Reserve, and therefore you will have to pay 150 rubles for admission, for residents of the Crimea and preferential categories it is free. Payment is made at the cash desk at the entrance, card payment is possible.
🚶 How to get there
Uchan-Su is located on a mountainside Ai-Petri 10 kilometers from the center of Yalta next to the highway on the way to the top (Uchan-Su on the map). From the road to the waterfall is only 300 meters along the equipped path. You can get here in different ways, we tell you in detail:
With a guided tour
A visit to the waterfall is included in all group and individual excursions to Ai-Petri Mountain. Such excursions can be purchased at most resorts in Crimea, but most often they are sent from the resorts of Greater Yalta. You can buy from distributors on the streets of resorts or online on these sites with reviews:

On your own by bus
Shuttle bus No. 133 runs to Uchan-Su from Yalta Bus Station (route on the map), the fare is only 25 rubles. Unfortunately, the bus runs only a few times a day in the morning according to the schedule. The schedule will have to be clarified on the spot at the bus station, because it changes often.
By car
It is not difficult to get to the waterfall by private or rented transport along the road that leads to the top of Ai-Petri. The road is in good condition, but very winding and goes uphill all the time. There is free parking for several places in front of the entrance, but if everything is busy there, you will have to look for a place on the side of the road a couple of hundred meters from the entrance.
To Uchan-Su on foot
If you like hiking, then climbing Ai-Petri with a visit to the waterfall or just to the waterfall will be a great idea. To the top of the mountain will have to climb to a height of 1234 meters, to the waterfall about 600 meters. For climbing in the Yalta Nature Reserve, several hiking trails have been developed, more details about which can be found on the reserve's website - https://zapovedcrimea.ru/yaltinskiy-routes. To pass along the route, you need to issue a pass in advance on the website or in the office of the reserve: it costs 150 rubles, and is free for preferential categories and local residents. After issuing a pass, you will not need to pay for visiting the waterfall additionally, this pass will be your ticket to the entrance.
