Livadia Palace - this is the former Southern residence of the Russian emperors, built in the late XIX century. Alexander II visited here, in 1894 Alexander III died in the estate,and Nicholas II built a new White Palace, now Livadia. In 1945, the palace hosted the famous Yalta Conference of the leaders of the three Allied powers – I. V. Stalin, F. D. Roosevelt, W. Churchill.

Today, the Livadia Palace and Park Museum-Reserve, open to tourists, is located in the palace and the park around it. It includes the White Palace itself, inside which there is a museum and guided tours, and a park. Inspection of the palace is carried out only accompanied by guides. The tour tells about two milestones in the existence of the palace – the Yalta Conference and the life of the family of Nicholas II. You can take a personal guide (expensive), or join a group. Objectively speaking, inside the palace everything looks somewhat dilapidated and unkempt, a lot of dust and dirt. If you do not pay attention to this, but listen carefully to the interesting stories of the guides, it will be very interesting here. If we compare it with another popular Palace in Yalta – Vorontsovsky, then this one loses to him in terms of entertainment.

As for the park, it is beautiful, and there are many historical places in it, because the great rulers of the Russian Empire, the USSR, the USA and Great Britain walked here. But to see everything, you need to work hard, because there are a lot of descents and ascents. From the park there is a long descent to the sea and Livadia Beach.
