Although Sevastopol is considered one of the centers of sightseeing holidays in Crimea, unfortunately there is not much entertainment for children here. The city has a water park, two dolphinariums, an aquarium and a couple of amusement parks, but these places are unlikely to surprise a seasoned tourist with children.
However, if you find yourself on vacation in Sevastopol or on one of its suburban beaches with kids, you will have to entertain them. Here is a selection of the most interesting sights and entertainment that they will surely be interested in:
Boat trips to the bays
One of the main tourist activities in Sevastopol and, in our opinion, an obligatory excursion for guests of the city is a boat trip along the Sevastopol bays. The programs of all walking tours are about the same, they differ only slightly in the route depending on the starting point. You will look from the sea at the monument to the submerged ships and the embankment, swim next to the Mikhailovskaya and /or Konstantinovskaya batteries. Children on this walk will be interested in large warships and cargo ships. Read more about boat trips to the bays of Sevastopol here.
🕐 Working hours: they are sent during daylight hours often when recruiting a group immediately on the spot, it is not necessary to book in advance.
💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: a walk lasting 40-60 minutes costs 600 rubles for adults, 400 rubles for children.
🚶 How to get there: boat trips along the bays start from the piers in the center, most often this is Grafskaya pier (marina on the map) or marina in Artbukhta (marina on the map). If you want to get a more advanced individual tour, you can buy a tour online at Tripster.ru.
Museum of the Black Sea Fleet
The Military History Museum of the Black Sea Fleet is conveniently located in the central part of the city on the main Lenin Street and within walking distance from the embankment. This is one of the most interesting museums with a classical exposition in Sevastopol, and therefore we undoubtedly recommend it to visit in the first place, unless, of course, you can afford the considerable cost of visiting with an excursion. Despite the small building of the museum, its exhibition is very rich and interesting, rich in unique exhibits that you will not see anywhere else. The collection includes models of warships, naval guns, rigging, awards, items from the bottom of the water area, personal belongings and weapons of sailors, documents, photos, paintings. Sevastopol Marine Aquarium-Museum
This is not just a tourist attraction, but also a research center with a long history. Founded back in 1897 at the Sevastopol Biological Station, it is considered one of the oldest in Europe and the first in Russia. The aquarium is not very large and includes five rooms, which are thematically decorated: in the first hall – the ancient inhabitants of the seas; in the second – the inhabitants of the Black Sea; in the third – freshwater inhabitants from five continents; in the fourth – reptiles; in the fifth – predatory inhabitants of the seas. In total, more than three thousand fish, corals, mollusks and reptiles are represented here. Among its inhabitants you can see very rare specimens. There are signs with their names and descriptions. Zurbagan Water Park
"Zurbagan" is the only water park in Sevastopol. It is of an open type, i.e. it works only in summer, and in general it is more comfortable to visit it in the heat, because if the water is heated here, it is very weak. This is far from the most modern and new water park in the Crimea, besides, the price of a visit for guests of the city without a Crimean residence permit is discriminatingly overstated, and therefore it is very difficult for us to definitely recommend it for a visit. But if you really want to ride a high-speed roller coaster and you are ready to put up with some of its shortcomings, then, of course, you can visit. Read more about the Zurbagan water park here.

Sevastopol Dolphinarium
Sevastopol Dolphinarium is conveniently located in the very center of the city on the embankment, which, given the low price, makes it definitely worth visiting, especially with children. Performances are held several times a day, the show with the participation of Black Sea dolphins, seals and white whales lasts a little less than an hour. As usual, everything goes to incendiary music with jokes and practical jokes from the hosts.

Another dolphinarium "Flipper" is located 10 kilometers from the center of Sevastopol near Victory Park and the water park. Its visit is more expensive than the dolphinarium in the center, but it is newer, and according to the reviews of locals and tourists, the performances here are more interesting and a little longer in time.
