Beregovoe (on the west bank) is a small resort village on the western coast of Crimea in Bakhchisarai district, located 50 kilometers from Simferopol and the airport, and 30 kilometers from Bakhchisarai (Beregovoe on the map of Crimea). In Crimea there are another resort with the name Beregovoe, but it is located in the eastern part of the peninsula and belongs to Feodosia.

Beregovoye is a beach resort where, apart from the beach and several accommodation options, there is nothing else for tourists. In the center of the village there are a couple of tiny grocery stores, there is a Craft bar with billiards, and on the beach during the peak tourist season there is a pavilion selling local beach fast food – shawarma, hot dogs, drinks, etc.

Unfortunately, there are no attractions and there are no sales of inexpensive group excursions here. If you want to diversify your vacation by visiting interesting places in the Crimea, you will either have to go by yourself by car or local transport, or arrange an individual excursion trip with local residents. Here are the nearest interesting sights that are worth visiting from the Coast: Sevastopol, Bakhchisarai and the surrounding area, Balaklava, Foros. Also during the day you can go to Yalta and Mount Ai-Petri, Grand Canyon Crimea, in Simferopol.

The beaches in Beregovoye are pebbly, mixed with sand. Pebbles are small and flat, which allows you to walk on it even barefoot without special beach shoes. This, by the way, distinguishes Beregovoye from the popular resorts of the southern coast of Crimea (YBK), where pebbles are very large compared to the local one. At the same time, Beregovoye differs from most other resorts on the western coast of Crimea, which are traditionally famous for beaches with fine yellow sand. The peculiarity of the local beaches is that they are located under fairly steep cliffs, too close to which is dangerous, because they crumble. However, this does not interfere with rest, because the beach strip is wide, and there are very few people who want to relax here, so you can stay anywhere just away from the cliff wall.

There are two beaches in Beregovoye. One with a length of a little less than half a kilometer is located in the village itself. There is only one exit to it from the left side by stairs. At the entrance to it there is a pavilion with fast food, and on the shore there are gazebos for recreation. Sometimes there are simple entertainments here: a water slide for children, banana riding and jet ski rental. However, the availability of these entertainments is not guaranteed, it depends on the season.

Another beach "Old Lighthouse" is located about a kilometer from the resort on the left bank (this is in the direction of Sevastopol). It is more quiet and secluded, and at the same time popular as a place to set up tents for lovers of wild recreation. The descent to the water here also takes place along a steep staircase along the cliff. If you decide to set up your tent camp here, too, keep in mind that you will have to pack the car and put the tent on top of the cliff, and this place is open to all winds. There is also a descent along the primer a little lower. There are a little less winds there, but before driving there by car, it is better to first carefully study the condition of the road, otherwise there is a chance not to leave there in bad weather.

There are several private guest houses in Beregovoye, local residents actively rent rooms to vacationers. There are no official hotels and sanatoriums here. The only sanatorium of Soviet times, which once formed the basis of a resort holiday here, is under long-term repair.

Unfortunately, most of the accommodation options in Beregovoye are not represented in the booking systems, and therefore you will have to search and negotiate on the spot. Weather and tourist seasons in Beregovoye

As in most resorts of the Crimea, the high season and the bathing season takes place in Beregovoye in July-August. You can also come here in May and June, or in the velvet season in September. How to get to Beregovoe

Beregovoye on the west bank is less than an hour's drive from the airport and Simferopol railway station, and therefore it is best to get from cities and regions of the Russian Federation on the "mainland" through Simferopol. Simferopol, in turn, can be reached by train or by plane directly or with a transfer in Moscow from almost all cities and regions of the Russian Federation. Upon arrival at the airport or railway station, it is most convenient to get here by taxi. The trip will cost around 1200 rubles, but the final price will depend on your ability to bargain, weather conditions and time of day. Unfortunately, not all drivers at the airport and at the railway station immediately agree to go here for a reasonable price, since that is not a popular destination and they will most likely have to go empty. Then the driver is guaranteed to meet you at the train station or at the airport and take you to the place:

You can get there cheaper by local buses, but that's if you're lucky with the schedule. From Simferopol from the bus station "Kurortnaya", it is also Simferopol AC-2, a bus departs 2-3 times a day to Beregovoye along the suburban route No. 32. If you are lucky with the schedule, then you will be able to get there from only 90 rubles. The Kurortnaya bus station is a couple of minutes walk from Simferopol railway station, and from the airport you can get here by city buses and trolleybuses from 25 rubles and 40 minutes on the way.

In addition to bus flights from Simferopol to Beregovoye, you can get from the district center of Bakhchisarai, as well as from the Severnaya bus station in Sevastopol. If you need to get here from other resorts of the Crimea, then you can easily do it during the day with transfers in these cities. From the side of Yevpatoria and Saki, you can go directly by bus to Sevastopol and get off at a stop in the villages of Tabachnoye or Vilino, from where you can finally get to Beregovoye by hitchhiking or passing buses.
