Gelendzhik Safari Park and cable car
The safari park and cable car are located in Gelendzhik, but they are convenient and easy to visit from Divnomorskoye on a free bus that runs several times a day. This is a zoo and Rehabilitation Center in which animals are kept in large open-air enclosures, rather than cramped cages. It also includes a cable car, which for an additional fee you can get to the upper platform (upper park) at an altitude of 630 meters. 🚶 How to get there: Safari Park and cable car are located on the outskirts of Gelendzhik, 12 kilometers from Divnomorskoye near the M4-don highway (Safari Park and cable car on the map). From the village of Divnomorskoye from the stop "Energetik" on Kirova Street/Free buses depart gornaya (departure to 09:00, 10:30, 12:00, 14:00,15:00,16:30, back 12:30, 14:30,15:30, 17:00, 19:00). For private transport near the park there is a spacious free parking.
Olympus Park, petting zoo and cable car
Olympus amusement park is located on the top of a mountain near the city. A chairlift leads to the top, which in itself is already entertainment. There is a ferris wheel, an observation deck, a 3D planetarium, an extreme carousel, and the very inscription "Gelendzhik" on the mountainside, which can be seen from anywhere in the city. Of course, upstairs there are places to relax and cafes. At the bottom of the Lower Station of the cable car is a petting zoo and a terrarium (included in the ticket price), and replicas of dolmens. 🕐 Working hours: the cable car and park are open in summer from 10:00 to 24:00, in winter from 10:00 to 17:00. It is better to visit in the afternoon to meet the sunset at the top and participate in children's and adult entertainment programs post 19:30. Watch the weather, because in bad weather there is nothing to do upstairs.
💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: adults – 900 rubles, children 5-11 years – 500 rubles, up to 5 years – free of charge. The price includes Ascent and descent by cable car, riding on the ferris wheel, visiting the mini-zoo, delivery by minibus to the cross and Chapel.
🚶 How to get there: Olymp Park and cable car are located on the outskirts of the city on the M4-don highway (Olymp Park and cable car on the map). To the Lower Station of the cable car can be reached by taxi from 100 rubles, a private car (there is a large free parking), city buses No. 8, 2, 6A, 40 to get to the new bus station upper, and from there on foot 10-15 minutes.
Golden Bay Water Park
The Golden Bay is considered the largest open water park in Russia. It is really huge, it features many modern slides for adults, there are children's slides, a recreation and swimming area, children's pools, a wave pool. Unfortunately, the water is not heated, so it is better to choose hot sunny days for visiting, but during the wind and cloudy weather, children can be cool. On the territory there is a cafe with high prices, you can not bring your own food. A bottle of drinking water is provided free of charge.

🚶 How to get there: Golden Bay is located on the Right Bank of the Bay in the area of thin Cape on tourist street, 23 (Golden Bay Water Park on the map). You can get there by bus No. 10, 20, 21, for personal transport there is a free parking lot.
Water Park "Behemoth"
The new water park "behemoth "has been operating since 2016, and is a good alternative to the "Golden Bay" if you need to save some money. Rates for visiting here are lower and more flexible, there are family discounts, etc. But, of course, you should be prepared for some inconveniences compared to larger water parks: there are no mats for the descent, not a very wide variety of slides and pools, not all slides are available to children up to 160 centimeters tall, while such children are charged as adults.

Amusement park
There are quite a lot of attractions and entertainment in Gelendzhik: they are found almost everywhere along the entire length of the embankment and on the beaches. But the main concentration of the most modern and extreme attractions is located opposite the Central Beach. So if you want to get everything at once in one place, then immediately go here. And on some days at 17:00 on the site next to the park, children's foam parties and shows are held for 400 rubles.

Sunny Island amusement park
Another park with attractions and children's Entertainment is located on the embankment in the central part of the bay opposite Beach "Sunny Beach". Unlike the park near the Central Beach, entertainment here is more focused on children than on adults, i.e. there are no extreme attractions here. But in abundance there are all sorts of shooting galleries, children's fishing, swings and carousels, trampolines, there is a ferris wheel. Prices here are even slightly lower than near the Central.

Dolphinarium
Gelendzhik indoor Dolphinarium offers classic performances of marine animals: sea lion, seals and Black Sea bottlenose dolphins. During the show, you can get so close to the animals that you will be splashed, which delights children and "scares" parents with cameras. At the end of the show, a drawing and auction of paintings painted by Dolphins are held. For an additional fee of 400 rubles, you can take pictures with dolphins, and for 3000 rubles swim with them in the pool. It is worth noting, however, that the price of a visit compared to other dolphinariums on the coast is somewhat overstated.

Boat trips on motor ships
Boat trips on motor ships are one of the most popular excursions in Gelendzhik, without visiting which it is very difficult to leave the resort. 🚶 How to get there: you can buy boat tours everywhere on the embankment from distributors or directly at the ticket offices of Piers (city pier on the map). There is no difference in price between distributors and ticket offices, but between different Piers, different ticket offices and motor ships, prices and excursion programs are different, so we recommend bypassing the piers and comparing several options.
Tunnel aquarium
This is a pseudo-tunnel Aquarium, in which fish are not kept in one large aquarium in the form of a tunnel, but in many small aquariums located in the form of a tunnel. Moreover, in the upper aquariums there are no inhabitants, only water. It contains one small reef shark, a moray eel, a couple of crocodiles, a chameleon, a python, a lot of colored exotic fish, and for some reason raccoons, monkeys and birds.

Oceanarium
A small aquarium, but rather just an exhibition of exotic fish that are contained in ordinary aquariums. It is interesting except that in a large aquarium in the middle there is a small reef shark, and also in the hall there is a cast of the jaw of the fossil shark Megalodon. Please note that it is a cast, i.e. a copy, and not a real jaw. In the Hall of the aquarium there is a free guide who gives some information about the inhabitants.

Dinosaur park
This has already become a traditional form of entertainment – a theme park with moving figures of dinosaurs. The figures, of course, do not walk in the park, but only move their limbs, heads and make sounds. And there is a sandbox with dinosaur "bones" so that children can play archaeologists. It will be interesting for middle-aged and younger children, adults have nothing to do here.

Beach activities
On the beaches of Gelendzhik there is a full set of water activities for children and adults. You can ride a banana, master water skiing, rise above the water on a parachute, swim on a catamaran, cut the waves on a rented jet ski and much more. The set of entertainment is quite standard for the resorts of the Black Sea coast, the prices are also the same as in other resorts.

Rope park
Next to the LoC "Sunny/Solnechniy" on the embankment is a rope park with three tracks of different levels of difficulty. Suitable for passing both adults and children. Equipment is provided, instruction is conducted.

💵 Entrance fee / tickets price: depending on the level of the Route - 300, 400 and 500 rubles. When passing two or more tracks in a row, the discount for each next one is 100 rubles. Emergency removal from the Route-200 rubles.
🚶 How to get there: located on the embankment at 19 Turistskaya Street (rope park on the map). From the center here you can walk along the embankment, or take buses No. 10, 20, 21 and walk along the tourist street to the beach.
Roman Empire theme park
This is one of the attractions and entertainment for a family visit, which can be safely attributed to the number of mandatory visits during a holiday in the resorts of Gelendzhik, especially if you are with children. A visit to the park includes viewing a show program on the theme of ancient Rome with the participation of gladiators and free time for inspection. And it will not just be watching the spectacle from the spot, as in a movie theater, but an action with your participation on several thematic sites. After the show, you can stay in the park as long as you like (but not longer than closing, of course) for photography, participation in master classes (for an additional fee), shooting in the ancient Roman shooting range, walking through the souvenir market and having lunch in a stylized cafe. 🚶 How to get there: the "Roman Empire" is located approximately in the middle of the road between Gelendzhik and Divnomorskoye, a few hundred meters from the Federal Highway M4-don ("Roman Empire" on the map). Nearby there are several public transport stops ("Divnomorskoe" and "turn to Divnomorskoe"), which can be reached by suburban buses from Gelendzhik (from the old bus station in the center on Sadovaya Street 23 (bus station on the map)), Divnomorsky, Janhota, praskoveyevka, Betta, Krinitsa, pshady. Most often there are buses from Gelendzhik and Divnomorsky, the rest are scheduled several times a day. Also from the resorts of Greater Gelendzhik, inexpensive excursions are offered.
Playgrounds
On Gelendzhik embankment there are several themed playgrounds that children and adults can visit for free. They are all stylized in the theme of popular children's fairy tales and cartoons. For example, there is a platform "Limpopo", "Emerald City" and others. And do not worry, you will not have to look for these playgrounds.
