Roman Empire theme park located 5 km from the center of Gelendzhik and at the same distance from Divnomorsky. This is one of the attractions and entertainment for a family visit, which can be safely attributed to the number of mandatory visits during a holiday in the resorts of Gelendzhik, especially if you are with children.
A visit to the park includes viewing a show program on the theme of ancient Rome with the participation of gladiators and free time for inspection. And it will not just be watching the spectacle from the spot, as in a movie theater, but an action with your participation on several thematic sites. After the show, you can stay in the park as long as you like (but not longer than closing, of course) for photography, participation in master classes (for an additional fee), shooting in the ancient Roman shooting range, walking through the souvenir market and having lunch in a stylized cafe.
During the show program:
- You will pass through the Roman military fort, and together with the Centurion and Legionaries will be accepted into the service of the Roman army to undergo training in military affairs, shooting from combat vehicles, selecting equipment, cooking food, defense, etc.
- In the village of barbarians, you can meet a shaman who plays outlandish instruments and calls on the gods to help revive life in his village. Here on the Potter's wheel you can learn the secrets of pottery and modeling. By the way, handmade products can be taken with you as a souvenir.
- In the domain of the slave owners, Lanista Crixus will meet you at the gladiator school and teach you, along with his slaves, the skill of gladiatorial duels.
- A huge training machine with rotating pillars, an obstacle course with swinging bags, a wooden doll, a barbarian hunt and other gladiator simulators will test the training of all comers.
- And in the end, a real Roman arena with gladiator fights!
About 20 actors, animators, stuntmen participate in the show programs. All equipment, clothing, weapons, combat vehicles, household items-are exact copies of objects of that era. The park is popular with families with children from 5 to 13 years old. This is evidenced by high ratings among the objects of tourist display and reviews of visitors to the park. Today the park is able to surprise the most sophisticated guest. In September 2020, according to the international review site TripAdvisor, the Roman Empire Park entered the top of the best attractions!

adults-1100 rubles, children (from 6 to 12 years) - 800 rubles. Promotions and discounts are held periodically, follow the information on the site. Archery, crossbow, guns and master classes are paid additionally from 300 rubles.
🚶 How to get there
The "Roman Empire" is located approximately in the middle of the road between Gelendzhik and Divnomorskoye, a few hundred meters from the Federal Highway M4-don ("Roman Empire" on the map. Nearby there are several public transport stops ("Divnomorskoe" and "turn to Divnomorskoe"), which can be reached by suburban buses from Gelendzhik (from the old bus station in the center on Sadovaya Street 23 (bus station on the map)), Divnomorsky, Janhota, Praskoveyevka, Betta, Krinitsa, Pshady. Most often there are buses from Gelendzhik and Divnomorsky, the rest are scheduled several times a day. From Gelendzhik you need to board any flight to the above settlements, from the rest of the villages, respectively, you need buses to Gelendzhik. For private transport there is plenty of space for free parking. Also, from the resorts of Greater Gelendzhik, inexpensive excursions are offered, which in fact are delivery (transfer). by bus to the park by the time the show starts, but the bad thing is that the time spent on them is limited, and therefore if you want to stay in the park longer, you will have to get back yourself.
