Thich Ka Buddha Temple, also known as the Buddha Altar (Thich Ca Phat Dai Pagoda) is the largest Buddhist complex in Vung Tau and one of the largest in Vietnam. Here, on an area of about 5 hectares, there are several temples, Buddhist statues, stupas and a bodhi tree. It is definitely worth a visit during your vacation in Vung Tau. The pagoda is very popular among both tourists and locals.
The main temple was built in 1963, and a huge complex gradually formed around it. Located on a slope, it is conditionally divided into three levels: from 3 meters above sea level to 29 meters. Climbing does not require much effort, as the stairs are shallow. As you climb, you can see sculptures recreating some of the life stages of the Buddha from birth to death.
Among the places worth paying special attention to are a large white statue of a seated Buddha, a stupa with sacred relics and one of the most beautiful temples of Tich Duong Ho Phap with gates and exterior decoration of pieces of colored ceramics.
When visiting the complex, you need to wear modest clothes and behave respectfully, as this is a sacred place for Buddhists.

🚶 How to get there
The complex is located on the eastern slope of Nuilon Mountain (Nui Lon) at 608 Tran Phu St, it is almost 5 kilometers from the center (temple on the map). It is best to go by taxi or rented transport. A taxi when ordering through the Grab app here will cost from 50,000 to 100,000 thousand(1.9-3.8 USD), mototaxi is twice as cheap.
