Description and is it worth visiting
Sapa Culture Museum, or Sa Pa Museum or Bao Tang - this is the only museum in Sapa. Besides it, near the town there are only two more museums in the Ta Van Village, but they provide practically no information. This local history museum will help you learn at least a little better about the history of the city and region, and tell you about the variety of tribes inhabiting the surrounding villages. The exhibition is modest, but admission is free. The first floor houses several exhibits and souvenir shops, a photo exhibition. The main exhibition is on the second floor. Here you can learn about the ethnic groups inhabiting the region, see a map showing the location of ethnic villages, and even plan your own independent trek to them if you decide to do so. In any case, it is recommended to visit this place before getting acquainted with the city or going on an excursion trekking around its surroundings.
Next to the museum there are a number of pavilions with souvenir products, as well as a mini-market where costumed locals sell souvenirs made in the surrounding villages.
