Description and is it worth a visit
Russian market (Russian Market) is a large clothing market in Ho Chi Minh City, known for selling Russian clothes here. Well, like "Russian"... It seems that Russian clothing here means any warm clothes, such as jackets, down jackets, sweatshirts, hats, gloves, etc. By the way, this market is very popular among foreign tourists. They come here and buy everything with pleasure, and believe that these are really Russian clothes.
They also sell bags, suitcases, T-shirts, underwear. In general, everything is the same as in any other clothing market, but still the main difference from other markets is that here you can buy warm clothes for the Russian off-season and winter: hoodies, windbreakers, jackets with sintepon and down. The quality of the goods is average, mainly made in Vietnam, Bangladesh, China. But the choice is large, and there are a lot of clothes under the North Face brand, even tourist jackets and windbreakers with membranes, hiking pants, ski suits. Let's say our personal opinion is that if you like to "shop" with tourist clothes in Decathlon (Desport), Sportmaster and similar stores, then you will find excellent analogues here at almost bargain prices, and even you can bargain.
As for shoes, except for summer options, we have not met here. A good selection of backpacks and bags, accessories. On the ground floor there is a department with products from the CIS countries, you can even buy buckwheat.
The market itself is a 2-storey store. The aisles between the counters are literally littered with goods, which makes it difficult to wander through the narrow aisles, and in some places the two do not disperse.
In general, if you are planning to buy some things or backpacks on the road, then we definitely advise you to come here.
