City Theatre (Saigon Concert, Saigon Opera House, City Opera House) is another example of the unique French architecture of the late XIX century, which enjoys the attention of tourists visiting Ho Chi Minh City. It is included in all sightseeing sightseeing tours of Saigon, and, as a rule, it is briefly inspected from the outside and go on to other attractions.

Nevertheless, it is definitely worth visiting this unique performance. It's really interesting and fascinating: the artists are working to the limit, and the director is constantly coming up with new ideas to surprise the audience.
There is a show in the evenings, but not every day. You can find out its schedule in advance on the official website, and you can also book tickets there. The seats in the hall are distributed by sectors and the ticket price depends on the proximity to the stage, you can safely buy the cheapest option, it's not bad to see from everywhere. The only exception is not to take tickets behind the column and the outermost seats near the walls – part of the stage will not be visible. Shooting, in principle, is not prohibited, but during the performance itself it is strictly forbidden to take pictures, as this may distract the artists.
And yet, a lot of tourists say that the air conditioners worked very hard during the performance and they just froze in the hall, so just in case you can dress a little warmer before going to the show.

Tickets can be purchased on the website from 800 000 VND (30.37 USD). Tickets are also sold at the opera house itself and at some agencies in the city. Entrance tickets to the Show can be purchased on the website Trip.com with payment by Russian card.
🚶 How to get there
The city Theater and acrobatic show A O Show is located in the city center and not far from Ben Tan Market at 07 Lam Son Squaree (City theater and acrobatic show A O Show on the map). From the tourist area and from Ben Tan, you can get here on foot in 10-15 minutes. From other areas of Ho Chi Minh City it is better to go by taxi or bus. If you do not understand the local routes, then you can use Google maps to find the bus number. A taxi ride around the city will cost from 30,000 VND (1.14 USD) when ordering via apps.
