Ho Chi Minh City, like any other major Asian city, has its own Chinatown. This is District No. 5 (District 5). The area itself is colorful and interesting, and is a kind of attraction. Therefore, if you have enough time, you should go to this area, walk around it and visit the Cho Binh Tay Market. True, such a trip will take at least half a day.
In the area you can see several Chinese temples, many shops, including selling Chinese medicines, and, of course, many markets.
Of particular note is the large indoor market Cho Binh Tay. It is in the area of this market that we recommend going to walk around Chinatown in its vicinity. The market itself is also very interesting. It somewhat resembles the Ben Tang market, but is much larger than it. Goods here are much cheaper, since it is not aimed at tourists, but at locals. Prices are incredibly low you can buy anything. Around the market there are also many small shops, including wholesale, but selling goods and retail. You can buy anything here, except for serious electronics. If you need to buy toys, then there is no better place than here in Ho Chi Minh City.
