Hanoi ceramic Mosaic Mural (Hanoi Ceramic Mosaic mural or Hanoi Ceramic Road) is an unusual, beautiful, and impressive modern landmark of Hanoi. Its construction was started in 2007 and it was planned that it would be completely finished in 2010 for the celebration of 1000 Hanoi, but after that something was finished and redone. Authors and artists from different countries, including Russia, took part in its creation. It is listed in the Guinness Book of records as the largest in the world, its length is more than 6 kilometers.

If you want to see something new that other tourists usually do not see, then recover for a walk along the main street Duong Hong Ha and Yen Phu, which runs a short distance east of the lake of the returned sword and the Old Quarter (tourist area). For more than six kilometers along this road, a concrete wall stretches continuously (its practical purpose is to serve as a protective dam against floods) with a height of 1 to 3 meters, which is decorated with continuous ceramic mosaics on the side of the road. Almost all along the wall there is a narrow sidewalk along which you can walk and get acquainted with the mosaic. 🚶 How to get there

The Mosaic runs along the roads Au Co, Nghi Tam, Yen Phu, Tran Nhat Duat, Tran Quang Khai, Tran Khanh Du and Duong Hong Ha. To find the mosaic, you can walk to The Long Bien Bridge and move from there to the south or North (mosaic near the bridge on the map). From the side of the Old Quarter and the lake (tourist area), you will have to cross one of the busiest and widest roads in the city, which is safest to do through an above-ground pedestrian crossing, which is located between the pedestrian and automobile bridges to The Long Bien District.
