Description and is it worth a visit
If you walk along the main beach of Unawatuna to its southernmost tip, it ends with a small stone Promontory and a hill on which the temple is located. This temple has no special architectural delights or unique statues and pagodas, but from the top of the hill, offers a wonderful view on Unawatuna and its beach. The platform at the top also houses a pretty white Stupa (Dagoba) and a statue of a seated Buddha.
Do not forget to take off your shoes when entering the temple, and, of course, you can not enter the temple in a swimsuit.
