Description and is it worth a visit
Maruthanarmadam Anjaneyar Kovil is a small modern temple that you will encounter on your way to the temple and sacred springs of Keerimalai. You can not miss it, because the entrance to it is guarded by a huge statue of the god Hanuman( Monkey God), for some reason called Here Anjaneyar. It is notable for the fact that it is the largest statue of this deity in Sri Lanka, its height is 22 meters. The temple itself is also remarkable: very beautiful inside, decorated with modern materials, and even with an electronic scoreboard. It is worth stopping here for a few minutes on the way to the springs.
