The Samara Art Museum is one of the largest museums of its kind in Russia. His collection was founded in 1897, and includes about two thousand works, divided into sections: Russian painting, foreign painting, art of the East, Samara artists, ceramics. The exhibition presents paintings by I. Aivazovsky, K. Bryullov, V. Surikov, I. Shishkin, A. Kuindzhi, I. Levitan, V. Serov, K. Korovin, I. Repin, V. Surikov, N. GE, I. Kramskoy, V. Makovsky, A. Savrasov, R. Gobert, D. De La Peña, F. Wouverman, J. Bunce, K. Malevich and other masters. The exhibits of China, Japan and India are one of the largest collections of the East and the Russian province. Expositions change every nine months.

daily from 10:00 to 18:00; Thursday and Saturday from 13:00 to 21:00. Tuesday is a day off. Every second Monday of the month is a sanitary day.

various sections of the museum are paid separately, the cost is from 40 to 80 rubles; temporary exhibitions are from 50 to 300 rubles.
