Of course, if objectively, Ilyinskaya Sloboda is much inferior in gloss, cleanliness and fun to its more famous brothers Rozhdestvenskaya and Pokrovskaya streets, since there are few restored buildings here, but this makes it even more interesting. The most interesting street in this area is Ilyinskaya, but Sergievskaya, Malaya Pokrovskaya, Suetinskaya and Gogol are also interesting. You can plot a route for a walk around the district from the monument to Minin and Pozharsky after a walk along Rozhdestvenskaya Street, starting from there along the narrow winding part of Ilyinskaya Street; go to Fedorovsky embankment and walk along the bridge of love; past the chambers of Athanasius Olisov again go to Bolshaya Ilyinskaya Street; after walking along Ilyinskaya after the Church of the ascension of the Lord and past the monument to Sergei Radonezhsky, you can turn onto Universitetskiy lane, and go to Bolshaya Pokrovskaya via the pedestrian bridge. You can do this route in the opposite direction.
