Yalta-Intourist is one of the best beaches in Yalta, and is considered the best on the entire southern coast of Crimea. It has been awarded the status of "Blue Flag" by European standards, which means a high level of cleanliness and safety of the beach. It is located two kilometers from the center of Yalta (Intourist beach on the map).
Sometimes on some websites you can read information that Yalta-Intourist beach is closed and only guests of the Yalta-Intourist hotel can relax on it. In fact, this is not the case, the beach is public and free, anyone can come to rest on it. The fee is charged only for using the facilities of the beach: sun beds and umbrellas, toilet and shower. But you don't have to pay for them either, but you can safely stay on your own mattress or towel right on the beach.
If you want to use all the amenities and entertainments of the beach, a swimming pool with sea water and heated in the hotel, animation, food, then it's best become a guest of the Yalta-Intourist hotel.
Intourist is not just a beach, but a whole recreation and entertainment complex of three levels at the Yalta-Intourist hotel. At the lowest level there is the actual access to the water and the beach itself, traditionally divided into small sections by concrete breakwaters. The beach is pebbly, very comfortable, equipped with everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday. On the second floor there is a walking area or a kind of promenade with shops, cafes, restaurants, and here is the entrance to a small oceanarium. Even higher is the entertainment area with cafes and restaurants, and there is also a special place here – the artificial sandy beach "Sky Beach". Of course, this is not a real beach, because there is no water here, but you may like it if you want to feel like you are in a tropical paradise. In general, this is a full-fledged tourist town for recreation.
Access to this beach is completely free by law, charging is prohibited. Even if you see signs with the words "Therapeutic beach, Admission is by pass only", you can ignore them, they may have remained from the old days. Now, in 2023, the passage is completely unobstructed both to the shore and to the walking area. But, of course, to use the sun loungers, toilets, showers or to relax on the artificial beach "Sky Beach", you will have to pay.

🚶 How to get there
Intourist Beach is located two kilometers from the center of Yalta sea station in the direction of Nikita (Intourist beach on the map). Along the coast you can walk here through the embankment of Massandra beach, but at the end of Massandra beach you will have to go out on the road to bypass the closed section of the shore of the boarding house "Actor". The entire walk in one direction will take 30-40 minutes.
If you do not like to walk, then you can get from the center by bus number 130, the fare costs 28 rubles. This bus goes through the center along the streets of Krala Marx and Kievskaya, and to the beach it comes to the Intourist stop, from where you need to walk a little less than a kilometer along the Oceanarium signs along a not very attractive road to the entrance to the beach (entrance to Intourist beach on the map). By car, you can drive almost to the very entrance along Drazhinsky Street, but there is very little parking space there.
