Public free beach "Dolphin" is located on the outskirts of Yalta, two kilometers from the center of the resort (Dolphin on the map). It is small, its length is slightly more than 250 meters, but since it is located a little away from the main gathering of holidaymakers, even at the peak of the season it can be called sparsely populated. At the same time, unlike the neighboring Livadia beach, which is almost abandoned, the Dolphin is quite developed and well equipped, everything you need for a comfortable beach holiday is here.
There are a couple of cafes on the Dolphin, fast food and draft drinks are sold, there are deck chairs and umbrellas for rent, free changing cabins, storage rooms, and even individual bungalows for relaxation. All this is located on the embankment, and the coastline itself, as usual in Yalta, is located at a lower level. There are medium-sized pebbles on the shore, and the water is clean compared to the center of the resort. The beach area is divided into four sections by concrete breakwaters, but in fact all this is one beach. The slope of the bottom here is smooth, so the place is quite suitable for a holiday with children.

Prices for beach services and entertainment are lower here than in the center and on other beaches of Yalta. But in their reviews, vacationers complain about high prices for food and drinks in cafes. Therefore, if you are on vacation with a limited budget, we advise you to take your drinks and snacks to the beach. But the beach prices:

🚶 How to get there
the Dolphin beach is located two kilometers from the center of Yalta towards Livadia (Dolphin on the map). From the Yalta embankment you can walk here in 20-40 minutes, but along the way you will have to bypass construction sites and obstacles in the form of sanatorium territories, you cannot go directly along the water's edge. In order not to walk, you can get to the nearest stops "Aquapark Atlantis" or "Stroitelei Street" by city buses or minibuses No. 122, 132, 9a, 135 and then go down to the beach on foot, but you still have to walk almost one and a half kilometers. If you have your own transport, then you can get directly to the beach by car along Vinogradnaya Street, but you will have to leave the car at a paid parking lot.
