Attention! Simferopol Airport is closed, flights are not operated in any of the directions. In this regard, the airport bus station also does not work. Probably, the ban period will be extended. As an alternative to traveling to Crimea, use trains, buses, personal transport, or buy tickets to the nearest valid Sochi Airport.
Upon arrival at Simferopol airport on the road to Yalta, depending on the chosen transport, it will take you from one and a half to four hours, and you will have to spend about 200 rubles to a couple of thousand. The cheapest option is a local trolleybus, but it is also the longest. And a taxi or a tourist transfer, as is obvious, is the fastest option.
By the way, we advise you not to rush in pursuit of cheapness when choosing transport, but to carefully weigh everything. The fact is that with the apparent cheapness of public transport, a trip by family or group will turn out to be more expensive than by taxi. So, for example, a direct bus to Yalta from the airport costs from 550 rubles, and when traveling with four people, it comes out more than two thousand, while by taxi you can get even cheaper. Moreover, a taxi will take you right to the door of the hotel, and you will have to transfer from the bus to Yalta city transport.
Well, do not discount the ready-made tours to Yalta. Due to savings on the cost of air tickets on charter flights and "wholesale" buyouts of hotel seats, tours are often cheaper than an independent trip. And now in detail about each way to get from the airport to Yalta with prices and schedule of 2023:
By taxi
- 💳 Cost: from 1500 rubles
- 🕑 Time spent: one and a half to two hours
- 🎫 Working period: around the clock
The most convenient and fastest way to get to Yalta from the airport is by taxi or ordering a tourist transfer. The trip will cost from 1500 rubles, but keep in mind that the Yandex.Go, Uber and other applications do not work here. You can order a car at the counter (it will be more expensive), arrange a trip with drivers in the parking lot (they also ask for a lot, but you can bargain). But the cheapest way to order a car is by phone or on the website of one of the local taxi companies, whose contacts you can find online.
A more comfortable taxi option is to order a tourist transfer. This is a little more expensive than ordering by phone, but upon arrival you will be awaited by a driver with a sign, and you can immediately go to the place of rest. The cost is fixed, paid for the whole car. You can check the prices for the transfer and, if you wish, book it on the website intui.travel and also through this search form from Intui.travel:
By bus
- 💳 Cost: from 400 rubles + 26 rubles

- Near the stop "railway station" is the famous bus station "Kurortnaya", also known as "Simferopol AC-2". Buses to Yalta depart from it every 20 minutes during the day, many of them passing. Travel costs from 400 rubles, 2 hours on the way.

By rented car
- 💳 Cost: from 800 rubles/day
- 🕑 Time spent: 90 minutes
- 🎫 Working period: around the clock
Another convenient way to get to your vacation spot is to rent a car at the airport. The average cost is from 800 rubles in low season / from 1500 in high season. But, to be honest, if you do not plan to actively travel to other resorts of the Crimea except Yalta or go to distant attractions and beaches, then a car in Yalta will be more of a burden to you than an assistant. If you still decide to rent, you can pick up and book a car on one of these sites:
