The main entertainment in Simeiz, in addition to the beaches, is the Simeiz seawater water park, which used to be called the Blue Bay. This is an outdoor water park, so it works only in summer from June to September. It operates at the hotel complex of the same name, but it can also be visited from the outside.
The water park cannot boast of the largest territory, modern attractions and extreme slides, but it is one of the most cozy and beautiful water parks in the Crimea. The territory is surrounded by greenery, decorated with living flower beds, and the attractions offer views of the mountains and the coast. There are not a lot of vacationers here, even in high season, so you don't have to stand in queues for a long time on the slides.
There are 7 swimming pools in the water park, including a children's "frog pool" and an original wave pool; 19 slides and attractions for children and adults; a zone for toddlers. There are two extreme slides - "Tsunami" and "Kamikaze" - but children under the age of 16 are not allowed on them, regardless of the cost of purchased height tickets. Moreover, these two slides do not work all the time the water park is open, but according to a schedule, so check it in advance on the website or by phone, if you definitely want extreme sports. In addition to slides and entertainment, there is a spacious recreation area with sun loungers and a sandy beach, a children's area, a bungee, a climbing wall, a volleyball court, and all the traditional amenities for water parks: a pizzeria cafe, toilets, showers, storage booths, etc.
.It is impossible not to mention some of the drawbacks that visitors to this place complain about: poor access to the water park and paid parking, a small number and variety of slides, high prices for food and drinks in cafes on the territory, the inability to pay for admission by credit card. Another of the negatives is that children taller than 140 cm pay the full cost of the ticket as adults, while they may not be allowed on the big slides due to their age. 🚶 How to get there: The water park "Simeiz" is not located in Simeiz itself, but in the neighboring resort village Blue Bay, it's just over two kilometers from Simeiz center (Simeiz Water Park on the map). In principle, it will not be difficult to walk to it along Sovetskaya main street, but if you do not want to walk in the heat, you can take a taxi for 200 rubles. There is also an option to take bus number 107, but for this you will first have to walk to the bus stop (it is located a little away from the center), and then walk one kilometer from the final stop of this route to the water park.
