Beaches Of Simeiz

The beaches in Simeiz are exceptionally pebbly, the pebbles on the main beach are large. On the beaches a little further away – shallow. The water is very clear, but during bad weather and storms, muddy water can wash ashore. What is good, there are no sections separated by terrible concrete fortifications, and all 400 meters of the coast are continuous.

There are several beaches in Simeiz:

• Most tourists prefer to relax on the city beach of Simeiz, which is closest to the center, and most easily accessible (City Beach on the map). This is the most developed beach: along it runs a kind of promenade with cafes, food stalls, tents with tourist goods. Here you can rent a chaise longue (from 30 rubles/hour), there are changing booths, but there is nothing else from the infrastructure. From entertainments in the high season, Children's inflatable slides are installed. On the left side of the beach there is a small "the Frog House" with knee-deep water, where children love to swim.

  To get here from the center of the village, you need to walk about 700 meters, mainly going down. You can go down by car, but you can leave the transport only in the paid parking lot behind the barrier.

  

  

  

  

• If you go left (towards Yalta, to the east), you can get to very narrow wild beaches (cm. on the map). There is no great point in purposefully going to them, they are too uncomfortable for a beach holiday, unless you want to get away from the crowd of vacationers in the center. If you go a little further, you will get to the beaches of Alupka, also Pebble.

• To the right of the City Beach is a short, just over 50 meters Diva Rock Beach (see on the map). It starts right behind the pier. Here the pebbles are smaller, even sand comes across, and the depth is small. This is just the perfect place to swim with young children. In addition, there is a wonderful view of the Diva Rock from here. But this place has an unpleasant feature: during strong waves, water floods the beach.

  

  

• Even further behind the diva Rock is the former closed beach of the sanatorium, now popularly called "Lukoil Beach" (see on the map). Now it is a public beach, access to it is possible through the territory of the sanatorium past the guard post. It is impossible to get along the shore, go along Sovetskaya Street, Lenin Street.

  

• Under the rock "swan wing" there is a wild, not equipped, and very rocky beach (see on the map). It was chosen for itself by nudists and tourists Tent Makers, so that with children there is a puddle not to go. And for swimming it is not very suitable, too rocky.

• A little further in the village of Blue Bay is auto-camping behind which there is a long (almost 500 meters) rocky beach on the shore (see on the map). The only good thing is that there is almost no one here, and here you can really sit on your towel in complete privacy. But for swimming, it is suitable only for real extreme athletes, there are too many huge boulders and sharp stones on the bottom.

• One of the most successful places for beach holidays and swimming in Simeiz is beach under the radio telescope (see. on the map). It is quite far away, and this is already the territory of another village of Blue Bay, but knowledgeable tourists often rest here. No amenities, but clean, and not many vacationers. Going here, you need to take with you everything you need: a mattress or towel for lying, water, food, an umbrella for shade. You can get there on foot or by car along Sovetskaya Street, Lenin Street, Golubaya street, walk 3 kilometers.
