What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
The observation deck at the Laspin Pass on Laspi Bay is considered one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the whole Crimea. Well, if not in everything, then at least one of the best on the southern coast of the peninsula, especially if you're lucky with the weather. Almost all excursions from Yalta and other resorts of the South Caucasus to Sevastopol, Balaklava and Bakhchisarai stop here. And, of course, if you will be passing through here on your own transport, then just be sure to make a stop here for at least a few minutes.
The observation deck on the Laspin Pass is located at an altitude of 329 meters above sea level, and from here you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding YBK mountains, the Black Sea and the Laspin Bay far below. The Chapel of the Nativity of Christ is located nearby.
The observation deck is equipped with parking, stairs for access to the site, benches for relaxation, binoculars for observation. There is also a cafe, a burger joint, souvenirs are sold. And imagine, there even appeared a charging station for electric vehicles.

🚶 How to get there
The Laspin pass and the observation deck are located on the highway connecting Sevastopol and the cities of the Southern Federal District (Yalta, Fors, Alushta, etc.), located 35 kilometers from the center of Sevastopol (laspi observation deck on the map). It is best to go here by private transport or with excursions. You can take any intercity bus from Yalta, Alushta, Foros to Sevastopol or back.
