Sunny Beach is a small equipped and public beach near the archaeological reserve Tauric Chersonesos. Just don't confuse it: Solnechny is not located on the territory of Chersonesos (all beaches are closed there now), but nearby (Sunny beach on the map), it has a separate entrance. By the way, from here you can cross the water or through a concrete breakwater to the rocky closed beaches of Chersonesos, however, in this case you will formally be considered a stowaway violator.
✔ Advantages of Sunny beach
- Sandy beach
- Shallow depth and warm water, suitable for children
- There is a Playground
- It is well equipped, there is an embankment, and near Akhmatova Park
❌ Cons of Sunny beach
- Short, only 100 meters
- The water is not as clear as on pebble beaches
- No water activities
Sunny is small, its length is only 100 meters, but very wide. There is sand and small pebbles on the shore, and therefore it has not in vain earned the love of tourists and locals, especially for family holidays. The depth here is small, and since it is located in a protected bay, the water here warms up better than in the sea. In general, in our opinion, this is the best place for a beach holiday with children among all the city beaches of Sevastopol. In addition, there is a playground with a sandbox and slides, and in the evenings cartoons are shown on it.
On the shore of the "Sunny" there are deck chairs for rent, changing cabins, toilets (for a fee). There is a cafe, drinks are sold, there are trays with leisure goods and souvenirs. What is nice, there is even a promenade with an amphitheater and a stage for concerts and film screenings. On land, the Akhmatova Park adjoins the beach, where there are playgrounds for sports, walking paths, places to relax, and in general the park is very pleasant.
