What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
A small museum-exhibition of military equipment, operating on the basis of the famous motorcycle club "Night Wolves", also known as the Museum of Retro Technology at Mount Gasforta, will be a good stopping point on the way from Yalta to Balaklava Sevastopol, Bachkhisarai, or in the opposite direction. But we are not sure if it is worth going here on purpose. Look at the photo, read our description and reviews, and decide for yourself.
In this museum, samples of large military equipment from the Great Patriotic War are exhibited under the open sky, as well as unusual technical and sculptural genre exhibits that are "participants" of the legendary patriotic show held annually by this club. Among the exhibits there are very interesting not only from a historical point of view, but also as works of contemporary art. Unfortunately, there are no signatures to the objects of the museum, so this place is just to take a walk here for 10-20 minutes and take a photo, nothing more.

🚶 How to get there
The museum-exhibition of military equipment "Night Wolves" is located next to the Gasfortovskoye lake, 20 kilometers from the center of Sevastopol, 10 kilometers from Balaklava and 25 kilometers from Foros (museum on the map). The point on Yandex maps shows the position of this museum incorrectly, it is located exactly where the point is marked on our map.
Here is the main highway that connects the cities of YBK and Sevastopol, so when driving from Yalta, Alushta, Foros, etc. in the direction of Sevastopol, you will definitely pass here and can make a stop. The entrance to the museum is located right next to the road, you can park here for free.
You can also get there without your own transport, because in fact it is still a district of Sevastopol, more precisely Balaclava. There are many city buses coming here from the important terminus "Ring of the fifth kilometer" in Sevastopol. From Balaklava you can get there with a transfer at the turn to Balaklava at the stop "Shaiba Restaurant". You can use route planner on Yandex maps, there are all the necessary buses there.
To get here from the resorts of the South Caucasus, you can take any bus to Simferopol, they all pass here.
