The Chorgunsky Bridge is an aqueduct of the XIX century or the Chernorechye Aqueduct – a historical landmark (conditional), which is definitely not worth a separate visit, unless you are passing by. There is nothing to see, unless you are just fascinated by rare abandoned places, similar to which there are a huge number in the Crimea, and throughout Russia. Locals and car travelers sometimes come here to rest by the river that flows under the bridge to have a barbecue picnic or go fishing.
This aqueduct bridge was one of many structures in the fresh water delivery system to the Lazarev Admiralty, now it is the Sevastopol Marine Plant. It was built in the middle of the XIX century, the project was developed by John Upton, he was also the designer of the Grafskaya pier in Sevastopol.
Existed for a very short time. During the Crimean War, the water delivery system was destroyed, and after its end it was decided not to restore it. Of the entire system, only a few dilapidated structures have survived to this day, and this aqueduct is the only one left intact. As far as we know, it is not a monument and is not protected in any way.

🚶 How to get there
It is located near the village of Chernorechye, 20 kilometers from the center of Sevastopol (aqueduct bridge on the map). Theoretically, you can get here from Sevastopol by city buses (with a transfer), as well as by intercity bus from Foros and Bakhchisarai, but as we mentioned above, in our opinion it's not worth it. You can use your own transport to stop here on the way from Bakhchisarai to Sevastopol, Balaklava and the resorts of the South Caucasus or back. You can park the car next to the asphalt and walk 5 minutes, or you can drive to the bridge itself along the primer.
