What to Expect and Is It Worth Visiting
The Eltingen Landing Memorial is an important continuation of the exposition Museum of the history of the Eltigen landing, although, of course, can be visited separately. It is located in the open air, on a small platform in front of the main building of the museum. You can see a little here. The main symbol is the sunken boat "Motobot" PVO-24, raised in 1978 from the bottom of the Kerch Strait, and mounted on a pedestal, guns, cannons and shells of that period. Nearby there is a mass grave for soldiers who valiantly defended their Homeland, as well as a hospital where brave doctors provided medical care to the wounded in the most difficult conditions.
