By plane to Kerch

How to get to Kerch from Sochi airport

Unfortunately, getting from Sochi/Adler airport to Kerch in particular is a whole story, and even lasting about a day. However, if compared with other resorts in Crimea, it will be easier and cheaper to get here, and there will be fewer transfers. In general, there are few options here: bus, train or taxi.

Taxi is the most comfortable option, but, of course, it is expensive. If you are ready to spend money, you can order a ready-made individual taxi transfer with a driver meeting at the airport on the website Intui.travel.

The bus is the cheapest and faster than the train, but we advise you to take it only as a last resort because of the difficult serpentine road and frequent traffic jams that form on the roads from Sochi and up to Gelendzhik. Ideally, you should take the bus at night, then you will avoid traffic jams and heat. On the train, the route will look like this:

First, you will have to take a taxi, city buses or an electric train from the airport to Adler railway station. From Adler railway station you need to take a train to Kerch, it is better to buy tickets in advance immediately after buying tickets. There are direct trains "Tavriya" (once a day) and with a transfer in Krasnodar.

• Car rental

  If you prefer complete freedom of movement, you can rent a car in Kerch. You can also rent a car directly at Simferopol airport, and use it to get to the resort or continue your journey along the peninsula. Cost from 1200 rubles in low season / from 1800 in high season. In high season, it is recommended to book a car in advance, which can be done through the search form and comparison of rental prices of different companies:

• By bus

  Regular buses can take you to Kerch directly from the airport or through Simferopol. With a transfer, it makes sense to go only if you did not get on a direct flight, for example, if there were not enough tickets.

  Direct airport buses depart from the airport bus station, which is located 50 meters from the terminal exit. Tickets are purchased at the box office, a little more than 5 hours on the way.

  If for some reason you did not manage to get on the flight and do not want to wait for the next one, then you can easily get to Kerch through Simferopol. In Simferopol there are two bus stations from where you can go to Kerch: the Kurortnaya station and the Central bus station.   • Via the Kurortnaya bus station

    From the airport you need to take almost any transport (bus or trolleybus) to the city, and after 20-30 minutes and for 30-35 rubles you will find yourself at Kurortnaya (see for details about Kurortnaya station in Simferopol). From there, buses to Kerch depart approximately every 30-60 minutes for half an hour from about 08:00 to 20:00.

  • Through the Central Bus Station

    From the airport you need to take the bus 49, 49A or trolleybus 54, 55, the cost is from 10 rubles. From the central bus station, buses depart every 30-60 minutes according to the schedule from 06:00 to 20:00. Cost from 130 rubles.

  In Kerch, all intercity buses arrive at the bus station in the city Center at 30 Marshal Eremenko Street (see bus station on the map). It is located quite far from the city center in the east, and buses do not pass through the city center. But from here it is easy to get to the center by any city bus. By bus to Kerch

From the cities of Russia to Kerch can be reached by intercity buses. The cost is slightly lower than by plane or train, but not much. Buses enter the island via the Kerch bridge, and the first point on the way is Kerch, so almost all flights pass through the city, the route network is very large. By train or train to Kerch

By car from the regions of the Russian Federation to Crimea on the route to Kerch, it is better to drive over the new Crimean bridge, travel on it is free. It is also now possible to enter the Crimea through the territory of the Republic of the DPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, and travelers and tourists are already quietly traveling along this route. But given the location of Kerch, it is still more convenient and shorter to go here through the bridge.

In Kerch, it will not be superfluous to determine in advance the place of long-term parking for the car. This is especially true if you want to settle closer to the beach or in the center, because at the height of the season there is a very strong shortage of free space. Transport in Kerch and how to get around the city
