How and how to get to Katsiveli

You can get to the resort village of Katsiveli directly only by taxi, private or rented transport. From the airport, the nearest railway station in Simferopol and from other cities and resorts of the Crimea, you can transfer via Yalta bus station by city / suburban buses, or transfer from an intercity bus to a city bus on the main highway Yuzhnoberezhnoye highway. To Katsiveli by plane or train

You can get to Katsiveli by plane or train with a transfer in Simferopol, since it is there that the nearest airport and railway station are located.

When you arrive at the airport or at the railway station in Simferopol, it is best to go to Katsiveli by taxi or book a tourist transfer, then it will take you less than two hours on the road. A taxi will cost from 1800 rubles, and a transfer may be a little more expensive, but it is more comfortable and reliable. If you decide to get to Katsiveli by bus, then the trip may take almost half a day, since you will have to make a transfer. And keep in mind that if you decide to go with your family, you are unlikely to be able to save money in this way, and rather spend even more than on a taxi.

First, from the airport you need to get to the Yalta bus station by bus. They are sent approximately every hour, cost from 550 rubles, 2.5 - 3 hours on the way.

If you arrived in Simferopol by train, then from the railway station go to the nearby bus station "Kurortnaya", and also take the bus to Yalta. They depart from here every 20-30 minutes, travel 2 hours, cost from 400 rubles / person.

When you arrive at Yalta Bus station, you need to transfer to city bus number 107. This route departs from Yalta bus station every 30 minutes, costs from 64 rubles, about 40 minutes on the way, see route 107 on the map. It will take you to the very center of the village of Katsiveli, and from the bus stop you can walk to the hotel or accommodation on foot.

Another option is to first get to the center of Simeiz, which can be done, including immediately from the airport, and from there to the right place in Katsiveli to walk (4 kilometers).

By bus from Yalta, other cities and resorts of Crimea

If you need to get to Katsiveli from other cities of Crimea or from neighboring regions of the Russian Federation, you can also transfer via Yalta bus station.

Then from Yalta bus station to Katsiveli, take a taxi or the city bus No. 107 mentioned above (see route 107 on the map).

You can also get to Katsiveli by any bus traveling along the Yuzhnoberezhnoye highway (this is the main route between Alushta, Yalta, Sevastopol), but again with a transfer. This option is convenient mainly only when driving from the west coast, i.e. from Sevastopol, Balaklava, Bakhchisarai, Yevpatoria. To do this, you need to take an atobus to Yalta, but before reaching the center of Yalta, get off at the stop "Katsiveli" on the highway. Further from this stop, walk one and a half kilometers to the center of the village on foot, or take the same bus number 107.

By car to Katsiveli

To get to Katsiveli by car from the regions of the Russian Federation, you need to go to the peninsula via the new Crimean bridge, travel on it is free. Theoretically, the possibility of entry through the territory of the DPR Republic, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions has been preserved, but this option of entry, given the current situation, should not be considered.

After entering the peninsula from Kerch to Kachiveli, the route can be laid using one of these options:

• Via Simferopol. This is a route with a length of 300 kilometers, it runs along the new excellent Tavrida highway, and in the absence of traffic jams on the roads in the Simferopol area, it can be driven in 4-5 hours. Along the way, there are rest stops and new network gas stations on this highway.
• On the YBK through Koktebel, Sudak, Alushta. This road is shorter by 10 kilometers, but almost twice as long in time, since it runs along the seashore along serpentines and through settlements. At the same time, this route is considered more picturesque, and along the way you can visit several interesting places. But keep in mind that if you make stops to explore the sights, and there are a lot of them here, then most likely you won't even get there in one light day. Therefore, we recommend it only if you want to travel around the peninsula, and not just get to Katsiveli for a vacation faster.
